Local Restaurants & Places to Eat around Hasland

Odyssey Greek Restaurant

1 Knifesmithgate, Chesterfield S40 1RF, UK – 01246 721573

Over priced for what you got, small portions and not the quality I expected from the prices and image the restaurant was going for. Staff were helpful and friendly

Really lovely place, food is stunning but quite expensive (£15+ for most mains)

Pizza Hut Restaurants

Unit 8, Ravenside Retail Park, Park Rd, Chesterfield S40 1TB, UK – 01246 540640

Not really bad but they had nothing to entertain the kids like crayons or balloons etc. Kids meal cost £7.95. So we had two adults and 3 children eating and it came to £60 for food and a drink each. No fries! So the children's meals were bare! Not worth that amount I don't think. Not all of the food came together. My eldest child was waiting that long everybody else had finished eating by the time she got hers.

Very friendly staff who are jeen to ensure yoh get tbe best deal from their many offers.

Nando's

Alma Leisure Park, Chesterfield S40 2EZ, UK – 01246 277548

Standards are dropping drastically!! I placed an order for collection as we wanted a quiet evening in. I was told 20 minutes. Got there 30 minutes or so after (10 minutes after collection time given), waited and additional 15 minutes to receive the order. Arrived home and was disappointed to see that both of our large creamy mash and halloumi were burned!! Not impressed. Nice new take away boxes but poor quality of food!!

Went here last night with my daughter who is obsessed with Nandos. The staff were excellent really courteous and efficient. I hate going up to order though and this is one of my gripes! That and the portion size. I ordered sweet potato mash that I paid over £3 (you also pay a supplement) for it, and it came in a tiny bowl. I was hungry but trying to eat healthily. Whilst it tasted very nice, it wasn't enough and I wasn't about to walk all the way to the till to order more or do an 'Oliver' I think it's overrated tbh. However can't complain about the flavours or the cleanliness they were excellent. Just a lot of money to pay for mostly self service.
